A postcard series for the Op Ed section of the New York Times. The editorial was about the decline of the old Chinese language, Manchu. The first two illustrations depict the Manchu culture in the form of mother and son being devoured by the Chinese language. The third illustration shows a glimmer of hope with the child, as Manchu is being taught again in schools.
