Little Professor Syndrome

“The Little Professor Syndrome” is a magazine article on Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism which makes children super intelligent but lacking in basic social skills. The headline and illustration are rendered in crayon to convey the feeling of a child having Asperger’s.




Coffee Cup Identity

The objective of the project was to design a coffee cup based on the person whom you get your coffee from in the morning, whether it be a spouse, coworker, or deli server. This cup is based on my friend Marc, who is both a coffee connoisseur and former graffiti artist.


Godard Posters

A poster series of films by director Jean-Luc Godard. The French New Wave was seen as a revolt against traditional cinema, so the concept behind the posters was to depict the radical feel of Godard’s films in a punk rock, D.I.Y. collage form.

Lush Life by Richard Price

A dust jacket design for Lush Life, a novel by crime novelist, Richard Price. The novel is about a murder in downtown New York, and the concept of the design is to illustrate the conflicting sides of the Lower East Side.

M. Butterfly

A theater poster for M Butterfly, the story of a French diplomat who has a longtime affair with a Chinese spy posing as a woman. The concept of the poster is to convey the ambuguity of whether or not he knows she is a man, focusing on the closeup of a man’s lips painted in red lipstick.
